Knows every cloud in the sky by name. Connection is my whole identity.
The Rainbow Cloud is the formation everyone gravitates toward, and this happens without planning or announcement. Birds land nearby. Other clouds drift over. Even the rain eventually arranges itself into something beautiful when this type is around. Their gift is not charm in any performative sense — it is a genuine interest in every formation they encounter, and that interest is felt.
In a sky, this type knows everyone. Not superficially — this cloud has tracked which formations have been struggling lately, which ones need a particular kind of atmosphere to function well, which ones are new and uncertain and need orienting. They carry the social weather of the whole system in a way that no one appointed them to and no one could replace.
Moments of community difficulty — new arrivals disoriented by unfamiliar skies, formations in conflict, transitions that need bridging — are where this type's presence is most irreplaceable. The Rainbow Cloud translates between different weather systems, smooths what would otherwise remain rough, and remembers afterward that it went well, which matters more than it might seem.
Carrying the atmosphere of the entire sky is exhausting in ways that are genuinely hard to recognise from inside. The Rainbow Cloud sometimes needs to drift to the middle of the open sky, away from the formations, and simply exist without purpose for a while. Doing nothing for the group is not a failure of the group. It is maintenance of the one who holds the whole thing together.
